Qualifications

• Current State License as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 1 year experience as an RN in a long-term care setting (preferred)
• Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms
• Committed to interacting professionally with residents, families, and staff

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process
• Direct the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physician and family
• Complete required record keeping for admissions, discharges, transfers
