Job summary

The waters of sullivan is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support residents in a long-term care setting. The nurse will round, monitor needs, administer medications and treatments, and consult with physicians to ensure high quality patient care.

This role requires Indiana RN licensure and a commitment to patient safety and teamwork. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in long-term care, strong communication and leadership abilities, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a long-term care environment.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed in IN.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds to observe and evaluate residents' physical, emotional and social needs.
• Prepare and administer medications as charts require.
• Administer treatments as prescribed.
• Consult with physicians on patient care plans.
• Communicate with director of nursing and staff about patient progress and needs.
