Job summary

Waters of Sullivan in Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive resident care in a long-term care setting, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and facility policies. Qualifications

• Long term care experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing in a long term care environment
• Must be a Registered Nurse RN in good standing and currently licensed in IN
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents
• Prepares and administers medications charts as required
• Administers treatments
• Consults with physicians
• Communicates with director of nursing and staff
