The role requires current RN licensure in Indiana and CPR certification, with responsibilities that include daily resident assessment, collaboration with the care team, and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state RN license.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of direct care providers to ensure medications, treatments, documentation, family teaching, and care planning are delivered per policy.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process from admission through discharge and return to family and community.
• Visit residents daily to observe status and notify charge nurse/physician when a resident’s condition changes.
• Identify emergencies and initiate lifesaving measures in the absence of a physician.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
