Job summary

Wetumpka Health And Rehabilitation LLC is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our long-term care and rehabilitation setting. The RN will provide patient-centered care, monitor residents, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to create individualized care plans.

New grads are welcome. A solid grasp of clinical protocols and strong communication, documentation, and teamwork are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state you wish to work.
• New grads encouraged to apply.
• Experience in geriatric, long-term care, or rehabilitation nursing preferred.
• Solid understanding of clinical protocols and state/federal regulations.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Passionate, empathetic, and resident-first attitude.
• BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS a plus).

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care as a key member of the RN team.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, perform assessments, and document changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and RN protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other RNs and healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
• Educate residents and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain up-to-date and compliant RN documentation in EMR.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for residents.
• Supervise and support CNAs and other direct care staff.
