Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality nursing care under supervision. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership in clinical settings, mentorship of staff, and accurate real-time documentation using PCC EHR within a compliant, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active RN license in the state.
• Certifications: BLS/CPR for healthcare providers.
• Clinical experience: long-term, post-acute, rehabilitative, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Language: proficient English for documentation.
• Health requirements: comply with state health screenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor patient responses.
• Lead and delegate to LPNs and CNAs within state guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure safe discharge.
• Mentor new staff and support clinical onboarding.
• Maintain accurate documentation in PCC/EHR and ensure regulatory compliance.
