Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Current certifications as required by the facility and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for residents in accordance with established standards and best practices.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Develop and update individualized care plans for residents.
• Supervise and mentor licensed practical nurses (LPNs), CNAs, and other clinical staff.
• Promote a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents.
• Educate residents and families on health management, medication administration, and preventative care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and facility meetings.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all documentation and records.
