Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join Imperial, a Villa Center, to provide skilled nursing care to residents. You will assess, implement, and evaluate plans of care, administer medications, monitor vitals, and coordinate with the care team.

Must hold RN license in the state and CPR/BLS certification. Strong communication, organization, and a flexible schedule are valued; LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be CPR trained and hold a current BLS certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to multi-task and stay calm under stress.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Follows infection control standards, policies and procedures.
• Flexible work schedule and occasional overnight travel.
• Positive interaction with residents, families, staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards.
• Maintains clean and sanitary nurse station and care areas.
• Takes vital signs, administers IV therapy as ordered within license.
• Charts nursing notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
• Ensures safety and addresses potential hazards in environment.
• Directs non-licensed staff to meet care standards as needed.
• Communicates with residents, families, physicians, and staff as required.
• Implements and updates care plans per IDT recommendations.
• Ensures infection control compliance and reports non-compliance.
• Adheres to HIPAA policies.
