Job summary
Saber Healthcare Group in Virginia Beach seeks a Staff Development Coordinator (RN) to lead, organize and evaluate educational programs across our skilled nursing facilities. The role also serves as Infection Preventionist and RN Supervisor, shaping care plans and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
You will design training plans, assess needs, and mentor nursing staff, with shifts Monday through Friday, full-time, with on-call rotation.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the working state.
- Must have CPR or BLS certification.
- At least 2 years teaching or training adult learners.
- At least 3 years working in long-term care.
- Ability to navigate Learning Management software and EHR systems.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, develop, direct and evaluate educational programs across the community.
- Serve as Infection Preventionist and oversee infection prevention/control program.
- Act as RN Supervisor, assess resident needs and supervise nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards and nursing policies.
