Job summary

The Laurels of Forest Glenn in Garner, NC is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team. You will lead and coordinate nursing care, collaborate with LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and other staff to ensure high quality care for residents.

You will assess residents, manage medications, develop care plans, and respond to changes in condition while maintaining compassionate support and safety. This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs and other team members.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests.
• Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of changes in status; promptly implement new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing care.
• Institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest's condition and prevent complications.
• Contribute to guest assessments (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a plan of care.
