Job summary

Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehab Center of Rowan County in Salisbury, NC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high quality geriatric care. You will follow physician orders, supervise nursing assistants, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards during day shifts.

Qualifications

• RN license from North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• CPR certified yearly.
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality nursing care by following physician orders and facility policies.
• Administer medications as ordered and per policy.
• Supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assist physicians with rounds and patient assessments.
• Maintain infection control and universal precautions.
• Document treatments and care appropriately and timely.
• Support with admissions, scheduling, and care planning.
