Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• RN license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certification in clinical specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for diverse patients and families.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources within the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.
• Promotes customer satisfaction and staff morale through professional nursing practice.
• Adapts care to the patient population with respect for privacy and patient communication preferences.
• Performs other related duties as required.
