Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for diverse patients and families.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources on the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data to evaluate and promote changes that achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Adapts care to respect privacy and cultural considerations while maintaining professional standards.
• Performs other related duties as required.
