Job summary

InterMed, P.A. seeks an RN Lead to oversee clinical operations in the procedure suite and provide direct patient care as needed. The role serves as a primary contact for clinical colleagues and onsite providers, guiding workflow and addressing urgent clinical needs.

The RN Lead will supervise procedures, coordinate supplies, and collaborate with the ASC Nurse Manager on policies and quality measures. Strong leadership and EMR proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• RN Lead requires ADN or BSN from an accredited institution.
• Active Maine RN license with BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Prior leadership in clinical or OR/procedure settings preferred.
• Proficient in Windows and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight for procedures in the procedure suite.
• Assist with procedures such as radiofrequency/nerve ablations per physician instruction.
• Administer medications per policies and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies per established policies and procedures.
• Perform pre-procedure screenings and patient education.
• Perform appointment reminders and post-procedure patient calls.
• Escalate patient safety concerns to ASC Nurse Manager.
