Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in El Paso, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical patient care on a rotating, per diem basis. The RN will assess, plan, implement care for assigned patients per shift and supervise staff as delegated.

The RN is accountable to support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe nursing care, and efficient resource management, coordinating patient care within the medical regime.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed/certified/registered to practice as required by law; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care per shift.
• Supervise staff to whom care is delegated.
• Coordinate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Support CNO to ensure high quality, safe care and appropriate resource management.
