AHRC New York City seeks a Registered Nurse to provide care for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will maintain health records, educate staff and families, and lead health and safety initiatives.

The role requires NYS RN licensure, a nursing degree from an accredited school, and CPR certification, with experience in IDD being a plus. AHRC offers training where needed and supports a collaborative, patient-centered team environment.

Qualifications

• New York State License as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• CPR certified (AHRC can provide training if needed).

Responsabilités

• Perform the duties of licensed registered nurse for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
• Maintain health records and disseminate proactive health information to staff and families.
• Train staff in OSHA, first aid and medication support; lead the health and safety team.
• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions under supervision and AHRC/ADS policies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and annual reviews as required.
