Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse Lead for the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU). This role involves clinical and operational leadership to support day-to-day nursing operations and patient care across the unit’s three levels of care.

You will mentor staff, participate in performance improvement, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years acute care RN work experience required.
• Charge/preceptor experience required, leading committees and scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical and operational aspects of the CVPCU daily operations.
• Support Nurse Manager with staffing, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Mentor nursing staff and drive quality, safety, and teamwork.
