Job summary

Summa Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Labor & Delivery Unit on a part-time night schedule (11p-7a), totaling 24 hours per week in Akron, Ohio. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care, coordinating team activities, and ensuring safety in a fast-paced obstetric setting.

Qualifications

• Nursing care guided by basic principles and evidence.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing care and manage patient needs.
• ACLS certification or plan to obtain within six weeks where required.

Responsibilities

• Manage resources and support the delivery of care in L&D.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and quality.

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required

BSN preferred

Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio

CCNE/ACEN accreditation program graduate
