Boston Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Maternal Child Health/Labor and Delivery unit. The role is 36 hours per week, nights with every other weekend, working in a Magnet-recognized environment known for high-quality, equitable care.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in Massachusetts.
• 1+ years of RN experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and documentation proficiency
• Fluency in another language is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in Labor & Delivery, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
• Communicate with health care team members, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization.
• Assist leadership in quality improvement projects
