Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (BSN within 4 years).
• Experience: Previous RN experience; labor and delivery experience required.
• Certifications/Licensure: Current MA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP.

Responsibilities

• Provide maternity care to patients from infant to elderly with individualized needs.
• Maintain competency in Labor & Delivery procedures, sterile field management, and obstetric surgical assistance.
• Delegate nursing responsibilities when appropriate, with accountability for patient outcomes.
• Perform assessments, teaching, counseling, and coordinate plan of care with the care team.
