Job summary

Boston Medical Center’s Maternity/ L&D unit seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care from infant to elderly, focusing on labor, delivery, and postoperative support. The role requires strong assessment, teaching, and collaborative planning in a fast-paced obstetric setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN preferred; BSN within 4 years required.
• Experience: Previous RN experience required, labor & delivery experience required.
• Certifications/Licensure: Current MA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care addressing needs from infant to elderly across obstetric patients.
• Incorporate patient rights, mission, vision, and values into practice.
• Maintain competency in Labor & Delivery procedures and related surgical assistance.
