Job summary

IU Health in Indiana is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on a full-time day shift. You will provide direct obstetric care, coordinate the patient’s labor and postpartum plan, and collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the care team to ensure safe, evidence-based practice.

Ideal candidates hold an active Indiana RN license, BLS, and have obstetric nursing experience. BSN is preferred and opportunities for professional growth abound within a supportive unit culture.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC equivalent.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required based on unit.
• Experience in labor and delivery or obstetric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care along the obstetric continuum (triage, labor, delivery, postpartum).
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, CRNAs, APPs and multidisciplinary team.
• Document and coordinate care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
