Overview:

We are a high-paced, high-energy unit specializing in Obstetrics and Mother Baby, Well Newborn Care along with the Post Women’s Surgical unit.

Within our unit, we have:

• 40-MB rooms
• 15-LDR rooms
• 14-High Risk Antepartum
• 8-bed OBED unit
• 4-LIBC Birthing Suites
• 4-Pre Post Rooms
• 3-OR suites (where we circulate all of our own cases)

Within our unit, we also have full-time Lactation Consultants who see both inpatient and outpatient clients. Mercy OKC is the leading delivering hospital in Oklahoma City and second in the Ministry. Our teams offer a comprehensive suite of services at the Love Family Women's Center.

Mercy's Love Family Women's Center was recently honored with the prestigious Spotlight Award from the Oklahoma Perinatal Quality Improvement Collaborative (OPQIC), receiving a silver award.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
• Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
• Physical requirements/demands: The position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly. Prolonged standing and walking are required. The ability to grip and perform physical tasks is essential.
