Allina Health’s Mercy Mother Baby Center in Fridley, MN seeks an Registered Nurse specialized in Labor & Delivery to join a dedicated maternity care team. This role offers 0.7 FTE (56 hours per two-week pay period) with 8-hour evening shifts and every-other-weekend rotation.

The RN will provide care across antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods, collaborate with in-house OB/GYNs and neonatal NPs, and deliver evidence-based nursing to families in a supportive, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (MN/NB permit or state equivalent)
• 1 year L&D experience within last 3 years or recent orientation completion
• 1 year postpartum experience or recent orientation completion
• BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross) or in-house training within 30 days of hire
• NRP Neonatal Resuscitation multisource required within 4 months
• RN-C in related specialty preferred

Responsabilités

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs; plan of care and ongoing modification.
• Maintain education and competencies to provide high quality patient care.
• Incorporate evidence-based nursing practice in care planning.
• Collaborate with family and patient to set realistic, measurable outcomes.
• Ensure age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care; coordinate and delegate safely.
