Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates seeks a Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery in Ohio to provide comprehensive patient assessments, pain management, and care coordination across the perinatal period. The role emphasizes safety, education, and collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The position requires 1 year of L&D experience, postpartum and nursery exposure, and an active Ohio RN license with ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.

• Postpartum and nursery experience required.
• Active Ohio RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications.
• BSN preferred.
• COVID vaccination status if available.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and reassessments.
• Assess and manage patient pain and educate on pain management.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Provide age-appropriate care based on patient needs.
• Administer medications safely and follow five rights of medication administration.
• Educate patients and families based on identified learning needs.
• Deliver safe, high-quality care within the scope of licensure.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Operate medical equipment safely and correctly.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care as needed.
• Maintain annual competencies, including bedside blood glucose waived testing.

REGISTERED NURSE – LABOR & DELIVERY (L&D).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and reassessments.
• Assess and manage patient pain while educating patients and families on pain management.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Provide age-appropriate care based on patients' needs and clinical conditions.
• Administer medications safely and follow the five rights of medication administration.
• Educate patients and families based on identified learning needs.
• Deliver safe, high-quality care within the scope of licensure.
• Maintain a safe environment and treat patients and families with dignity and respect.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Operate medical equipment safely and correctly.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care as needed.
• Maintain annual competencies, including bedside blood glucose waived testing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Postpartum and nursery experience required.
• Active Ohio or compact RN license at the time of submission.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• BSN preferred.
• If COVID vaccinated, provide vaccination card.

CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• ACLS – AHA.
• BLS – AHA.
• NRP.

LICENSE REQUIREMENT: Active Ohio or compact RN license.
