Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking a Registered Nurse for travel assignments in southern New Jersey and beyond. The role involves developing and revising patient care plans, supervising support staff, and delivering direct nursing care across multiple facilities.

Candidates should have an active RN license, a valid driver's license, and be able to travel. BLS is required; ACLS/NRP/PALS may be requested by clients. Competitive hourly rates with stipends are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year as Registered Nurse required.
• Current, valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Current, valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
• Recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Position Summary: Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Position Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises the following positions: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, PALS, RNC-OB, C-EFM and RNC-MNN, may be required by Vibra Travels and/or client.
