Job summary

Vibra Travels seeks a Registered Nurse for travel assignments across Vibra Travels partner facilities nationwide, including opportunities in Iowa. The role requires a current RN license and allows you to work with a single recruiter from start to finish, with local and non-local placements.

You will develop and execute plans of care, supervise LPNs, CNAs and techs, and travel as needed. A competitive hourly rate with stipends is offered, along with license reimbursement where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1 year as Registered Nurse required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
• Recent acute care experience

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Position Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises the following positions: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year as Registered Nurse required, but may vary by client and setting.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
• Recent acute care experience

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, PALS, RNC-OB, C-EFM and RNC-MNN, may be required by Vibra Travels and/or client.
