Job summary

Vitruvian Health in the northwest Georgia / southeast Tennessee region seeks a Registered Nurse to work across Women’s Services, with preferred Mother-Baby, NICU, and Labor & Delivery experience. You will plan, supervise, and evaluate nursing care, aligning with the medical plan of care and hospital policies.

Practice professional ethics and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Must hold an active Tennessee or compact-state RN license, with BLS and ACLS; ACLS to be obtained within 30

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with state licensure.
• Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment preferred.
• Current Tennessee or Compact State RN license; BLS and ACLS required; ACLS within 30 days if not certified on hire.

Responsibilities

• Observe professional ethics and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Follow accepted safety practices for patients and the hospital.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities.
• Utilize the nursing process to provide age-specific patient care.
• Communicate in a clear and understanding manner with patients and families.

JOB SUMMARY

RN must be willing to work all areas of Women's Services, preferred experience in Mother-Baby, NICU, and Labor and Delivery.

The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervising, and evaluating patients’ nursing care and correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and policies. Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical, or employment status of patients and their families. Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and the hospital. Participate in Performance improvement activities. Utilize the nursing process to oversee and provide age-specific patient care. Communicate in an acceptable and easily understood manner. Develops, implements, and updates plan of care. Educates and adheres to patient bill of rights. RN must be willing to work all areas of Women's Services, preferred experience in Mother-Baby, NICU, and Labor and Delivery.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure. Diploma preferred.

Experience: Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred.

Licenses/Certificates :Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required. Current BLS and ACLS required. If not ACLS certified on hire, must acquire within 30 days.
