Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring must be obtained within 4 months of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN license in GA or a compact state is required.
• ASN or BSN degree required.
• Prior Women’s Services or L&D nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in Labor and Delivery.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team to support patient outcomes.
• Serve as advocate for patients and families and adhere to nursing standards and models.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and delivers high quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What Qualifications will you Need

• ACLS and BCLS within 30 days of employment start date

• (RN) Registered Nurse – clear and active GA or compact state nursing license
