Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department standards and the state’s requirements. You will work with physicians and the care team using established nursing models and advocate for patients and families.

The role requires RN licensure, an approved degree, and certifications such as BLS and ACLS within specified times; NRP within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where practicing
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date
• ACLS certification within 1 year of employment start date
• NRP certification within 6 months of employment start date
• Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or RN Diploma from an approved program

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in the Labor and Delivery unit
• Collaborates with physicians and care team to provide individualized, compassionate care
• Acts as advocate for patients/families/caregivers and supports department performance

Skills
