NSHE's CSN seeks Part-Time RN Lab Tutors to support nursing students in labs and simulation environments. The role reports to Simulation Lab Manager and Program Director, assisting with equipment and supplies and supporting class labs and open lab sessions.

This non-instructional position focuses on safe tool use, student practice of skills, equipment setup, maintenance, and collaboration with faculty. Requires BSN and Nevada RN license; travel between CSN campuses may be needed; salary

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Nevada RN license.
• BSN degree.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to travel between CSN campuses as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist students during class or open lab sessions with nursing skills equipment and supplies.
• Answer questions regarding the function of laboratory equipment.
• Support student practice of clinical skills taught in lecture and lab.
• Follow instructor-provided skills checklists to guide practice.
• Set up, organize, and break down laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Ensure equipment is available, functional, and maintained.
• Keep lab spaces clean, organized, and professional.
• Promote safe handling of nursing equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain equipment security.
• Communicate professionally with students, faculty, and staff.
• Collaborate with nursing faculty to support student success.
• Provide timely communication about equipment concerns or student issues.
