Nevada State University is seeking a LOA Hourly - Nursing Simulation Facilitator to support high-fidelity simulation and standardized patient encounters in the BSN program. This is an open pool of qualified individuals for part-time, as-needed coverage with varied hours.

Minimum qualifications include Nevada RN license and BLS, a BSN or related field, and a demonstrated interest in mentoring nursing students.

Qualifications

• RN license in Nevada
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Evidence of clinical excellence
• Interest in mentoring undergraduate nursing students
• Team player with collaboration and communication
• Familiar with computer technology and email
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must meet posted minimum qualifications at time of application

Responsibilities

• Serve as Simulation Facilitator for simulation
• Assist with updating and creating scenarios with staff
• Attend pre-session huddles to align participants with the model
• Collaborate professionally with simulation staff, faculty, and students during simulations
• Ensure standards during facilitation and debriefing
• Attend ongoing training to maintain proficiency in the model
