Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide care across antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods in a Colorado hospital. The role focuses on fetal monitoring, labor support, and newborn care, with opportunities to educate families and coordinate with physicians.

A CO RN license, BLS, and NRP are required, with 1–2 years of obstetric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of labor and delivery or obstetric nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice is required.
• BLS, NRP certifications required; EFM and ALSO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate patterns during labor.
• Administer medications including oxytocin and pain management per orders.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and support cesarean sections.
• Provide immediate newborn assessment and care after delivery.
• Educate patients and families on labor progress, pain control, and postpartum recovery.
• Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies such as hemorrhage or fetal distress.

Provides nursing care to laboring patients and their newborns throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum periods. Monitors maternal and fetal well-being, assists with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and supports patients through labor and delivery.

Education & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Minimum 1-2 years of labor and delivery or obstetric nursing experience (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (Required)
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (Preferred)
