Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery in Payson, Arizona on a 13-week contract. The role involves high-quality, patient-centered care in a hospital setting, with a 36-hour weekly schedule across three 12-hour shifts and rotating shifts.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, BLS, and experience in acute care or women’s services, and will collaborate with physicians and the care team while documenting in the EMR.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Payson, Arizona, for a 13-week contract assignment in Women’s Services. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a hospital setting.

This position offers a 36-hour weekly schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule. The ideal candidate should be flexible and comfortable working rotating shifts based on unit and patient-care needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients in the Women’s Services setting.

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor patient conditions.

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

Administer medications, IV therapies, treatments, and other prescribed interventions safely and accurately.

Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, fetal or maternal status, and other relevant clinical indicators as appropriate.

Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly communicate concerns to physicians and other members of the healthcare team.

Collaborate with physicians, midwives, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.

Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, procedures, and discharge instructions.

Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the electronic medical record.

Follow hospital policies, nursing standards, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety guidelines.

Participate in patient and family education and promote a positive patient experience.

Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and effective communication in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Advocate for patients and their families while maintaining confidentiality and respecting individual needs and preferences.

Requirements

Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Previous acute-care hospital nursing experience.

Experience in Labor & Delivery, Women’s Services, Maternal-Child Health, or a closely related specialty preferred.

Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.

Ability to manage multiple patient-care priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Current BLS certification required.

ACLS, NRP, or other specialty certifications may be required depending on facility and unit requirements.

Ability to commit to the full 13-week contract and scheduled 36 hours per week.
