Job summary

A leading healthcare staffing agency is seeking a compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a hospital in Phoenix, AZ. This role requires a minimum of 1–2 years of experience, an active RN license, and strong clinical skills in obstetric care. The RN will monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assist during deliveries, and provide patient education and support. This position offers competitive pay of $78–$83 per hour depending on experience, with three 12-hour shifts per week available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical skills in obstetric care and fetal monitoring.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and pain management therapies.
• Assist physicians and midwives during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Provide continuous patient support, education, and emotional care.
• Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes.
