Job summary

Ro Health, LLC is seeking a dedicated RN to join our healthcare team at correctional facilities in Lubbock, TX. This contract role focuses on delivering essential nursing care in a secure, hygienic environment and collaborating with medical staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.

The position requires an active Texas RN license (or compact license), BLS certification, and the ability to pass a background check. Schedule is 12-hour shifts, 4 days on, 4 off, with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments.
• Monitor and document patients’ health status and respond to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care.
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Collaborate and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records.

This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Details:

• Location: Lubbock, TX
• Schedule:12 hours, 4 days on, 4 off
• Employment Type: Contract

Qualifications:

• Prior corrections experience is a plus!
