Job summary

Sierra Medical Center in Nevada seeks a dedicated RN to support the cardiology stress lab. The role involves preparing, supervising and monitoring patients during stress tests, evaluating EKG rhythm, and handling emergent situations with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities include operating the Coumadin Clinic, reviewing labs, communicating medication changes, recording patient data, and participating in hospital performance improvement activities. ACLS and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Nevada RN licensure currently active.
• One year experience in IR, Telemetry, Emergency Services or Critical Care.
• Moderate sedation experience; BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates rhythm changes to the ordering physician.
• Providing education to the patient and family about the procedure and plan of care before signing consent and providing discharge instructions.
• Inserting and removing intravenous lines.
• Administering medications including moderate sedation.

Job Summary:

This position will prepare, supervise, perform and monitor patients during stress tests. Must have ability to evaluate EKG rhythm and respond to emergent situation. Must be a self motivated individual willing to take charge of a growing cardiology stress lab. Qualification include current ACLS, experience with advanced rhythm analysis with a patient centered approach. In addition to Stress testing this position will operate the Coumadin Clinic by evaluating patients labs test and communicating changes to there medications as needed. Records will be maintained on each patient. Participates in performance improvement activities in the hospital

Qualifications
