Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Interventional Radiology for a 13-week assignment in Olympia, WA. The role requires ICU experience and RN licensure with BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Procedural RN with CT-guided biopsy, fistulograms, GJ-tube placement.
  • Lower-extremity angiograms and nuclear medicine/stress tests.
  • Paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures.
  • Y90 procedures as part of IR duties.
  • Occasional float between nearby facilities and some weekend/call coverage.

Must-Have:

ICU experience is required.First-timers are not accepted.Weekend coverage varies depending on staffing, potentially every 3-4 weekends.RNs typically have one night of call during the week every other week from 1700 to 0700 the next day.There is one weekend call shift every 4-6 weeks from 1700 Friday to 0700 Monday morning.

Description:Position for an Interventional Radiology RN.The position requires ICU experience and 1 year in a relevant role is preferred.The candidate will be involved in procedural patients with duties including CT guided biopsy, fistulograms, GJ-tube placement, lower extremity angiograms, nuclear medicine/stress tests, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y90 procedures.Candidates should expect to float occasionally between nearby facilities.RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process, and flexibility with the contracted schedule is required.Communication devices will be provided as necessary for the assignment.References are required to cover at least 1 year within the last 3 years.Candidates should not reach out directly to the facility for inquiries or interviews unless previously arranged.All submitted time must be recorded accurately in transcripts.Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.Travel experience is required.There may be expectations of working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
