Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Tyler, Texas. You will cover two IR rooms, CT, and Ultrasound with moderate sedation and participate in a Level 1 Trauma Center and stroke program.

This role requires ACLS/BLS/PALS, trauma experience preferred, and Epic charting proficiency. Call rotation included; benefits provided by ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.

Schedule

Day shift: 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30), with call every 4th to 5th day/weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art facility. This role involves covering two Interventional Radiology rooms, CT, and Ultrasound moderate sedation needs. The candidate will be an essential part of a Level 1 Trauma Center and primary stroke center while collaborating with residents and fellowship programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Interventional Radiology suite.
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Circumvent and assist in various specialized interventions and procedures.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience in Trauma Level I preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
