Description:Position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist.The shift is four days a week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.Candidates with 2 years of experience are preferred.First-timers are accepted.Call rotation is required, averaging 10 days per month, which includes a weekend.The clinician will not float within the scope to meet facility needs.Candidates must be located more than 70 miles from the facility.Work experience in outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU is mandatory.Experience with procedures such as stents, angioplasty, and biopsies is required.Candidates should have familiarity with accessing and managing ports, central venous access, drainage, and various angiograms.Experience with hybrid OR and nephrograms is necessary.PACS experience is required.The unit will work with a variety of patient ages including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Special equipment required includes GE and Siemens systems.Candidates should be prepared for call requirements and various interventional procedures.This position requires specific technical skills and knowledge of radiology technology.The role necessitates a commitment to patient care and interdisciplinary support.
