Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology in Burbank, California. This is a 13-week contract assignment with a day shift and a schedule involving weeknights and weekends with on-call requirements.

The RN will provide high-quality care to adults and geriatrics in a fast-paced acute care setting, assist with procedures, monitor sedation, and use Meditech for charting, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring and cardioversion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with interventional procedures in the radiology department.
• Monitor and manage patient sedation during procedures.
• Administer emergency medications and blood products as necessary.
• Use Meditech for charting patient information and care provided.

Schedule includes a mix of weeknights (approximately 1500-0700) and weekends (0700-0700), requiring call for 7 out of 14 days, typically 3 days one week and 4 the next, including every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care environment. Responsibilities include assisting with various interventional procedures, monitoring patient sedation, and managing critical care situations. The nurse will utilize the Meditech charting system and maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
