Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning.
• Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care.
• Assist with specialized patient care equipment as required by the clinical department.

About This Role

As an RN in Interventional Radiology at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus, you will provide exceptional nursing care to hospitalized patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services. • Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
• Department/Unit: Interventional Radiology
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift (7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., including two weekend shifts within a six-week period)

What You'll Do

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
• Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning.
• Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care.
• Assist with specialized patient care equipment as required by the clinical department.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician or LIP.
• Educate patients and families.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required

Experience:

• One year of recent experience as an RN OR Licensed RN with at least 2 years of LPN experience within the same Cleveland Clinic procedural department may substitute for required RN experience

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within the first six months of employment
• Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) or Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC) preferred within three years of hire
