The Interventional Radiology RN supports patients during minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, including central lines, angiograms, and tumor-directed therapies.

This role requires RN licensure, BLS, and 1 year of RN experience, with ED/PACU/critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN) and current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; PALS if in ED per hire.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; clinical competence.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services in hospital settings.
• Assess patients, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormalities.
• Perform triage calls and coordinate rotations; administer treatments and medications.
• Establish care plans with patients, families, and the health care team.
• Coordinate discharge planning and ongoing care; support standard of care; educate patients and families.
