Job summary

Southcoast Health is hiring experienced Registered Nurses for our in-house travel team, based in Fall River, MA. Assignment is 11-13 weeks with possible extension; shifts from 3:00pm-11:30pm, 32 hours per week, on-site across multiple Southcoast facilities.

Must work every other weekend and holiday or alternate schedule. Area: Family Centered Unit/Labor & Delivery at Charlton Memorial Hospital; may float to St. Luke's-New Bedford.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• BLS certification is also required.
• Minimum of one year of Family Centered Unit/Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• Competent in reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the Family Centered Unit/Labor & Delivery.
• Ability to float to other like-units for patient assignments.
• Utilize PC-based applications and Epic for charting and orders.
• Meet schedule requirements: evenings/nights, weekends and holidays as posted.

• 11-13 Week Assignment, with option to extend for 1 additional 13 week assignment if available
• $70/hr

Position Assignment Details

• Hours: 32hrs
• Shifts: 3:00pm-11:30pm
• Must work every other weekend and holiday, 1 weekend shift every week and every other holiday OR Every Weekend
• Area Assignment: Family Centered Unit/Labor & Delivery - Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA
• This position is Multisite, may be asked to float to any Southcoast Hospital: Charlton Memorial Hospital, St. Luke's-New Bedford.

• Current Southcoast Health System employees are not eligible for consideration. Former employees must be separated from Southcoast for at least 9 months to be eligible.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.

• Epic experience is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay Range

USD $75.00 - USD $75.00 /Hr.
