Job summary

Corewell Health’s outpatient clinic in Southfield seeks a Clinical Nurse to provide professional nursing care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. You will work under Nursing and Operational Leadership, delivering patient-family centered care from 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, as part of the Internal Medicine Southfield - Medical Group East WB Mkt. The role requires Michigan RN licensure, ADN, and BLS certification, with BSN preferred and opportunities for specialty

Qualifications

• ADN required and must be licensed as an RN in Michigan.
• BSN preferred; if BSN not achieved, new graduates must enroll in BSN within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• Two years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• Active State of Michigan RN license required.
• AHA/ARC Basic Life Support certification required.
• Specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in ambulatory setting using the nursing process with patient-family centered care.
• Deliver care under direction of Nursing and Operational Leadership per hospital policies and procedures.
• Perform duties in accordance with Corewell Health guidelines in an ambulatory environment.

Scope of Work

The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nursing and Operational Leadership according to policies and procedures within an ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree graduate (A.D.N.) or equivalent of an accredited school of nursing, required
• Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD), preferred - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required
• 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience, required
• State of Michigan Registered Nurse license, required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification, required
• Specialty certification, preferred
