Job summary

Corewell Health in Royal Oak, MI is recruiting a registered nurse to join the Cardiac Rehab team on a full-time, day shift. The position provides 40 hours weekly in an ambulatory setting with 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. hours.

You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient-family centered care under Nursing and Operational Leadership, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include Michigan RN license, BLS, and 2 years of acute care nursing; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) required.
• BSN preferred; if not BSN, must enroll in BSN within 1 year and complete within 5 years.

Scope of Work

The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nursing and Operational Leadership according to policies and procedures within an ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree graduate (A.D.N.) or equivalent of an accredited school of nursing, required
• Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD), preferred - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required
• 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience, required
• State of Michigan Registered Nurse license, required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification, required
• Specialty certification, preferred
