Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of Colorado or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly evaluating and revising as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care.
• Document patient information, care activities, and outcomes accurately.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care plans and adjust to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise and delegate care tasks to health care team members.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond promptly to code situations and provide interventions.
