Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Pinehurst, NC invites a registered nurse to join Reid, a 12-bed intermediate care unit delivering care for patients with moderate to severe medical and cardiac conditions. You will work with a skilled team, monitor patients, titrate drips, and assist with bedside procedures such as echocardiograms and cardioversions.

Qualifications include an NC RN license or Compact state license, BCLS, and at least 2 years of experience for weekend incentive pay.

Qualifications

• Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License.
• BCLS certification is required.
• 2+ years of experience may qualify for weekend incentive pay.

Responsibilities

• Care for Reid unit patients with moderate to severe medical and cardiac diagnoses, including monitoring and titration of drips.
• Assist with bedside procedures such as transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions.

Responsibilities

Reid is a 12-bed intermediate care unit specializing in the care of patients with moderate to severe medical and cardiac diagnoses such as sepsis, acute respiratory failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, NSTEMI, atrial fibrillation/flutter and CHF. Nurses on this unit utilize a broad skill set, initiate and titrate drips that require cardiac monitoring and assist with bedside procedures such as transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions.
