Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas in North Carolina is seeking a skilled CCU nurse for our 12-bed ICU specializing in critically ill cardiac patients, including STEMIs and post-arrest care. You will perform comprehensive assessments, assist with intra-aortic balloon pump and Impella management, and titrate vasoactive drips while coordinating ventilator support.

A valid NC RN license with ACLS/BCLS and 2 years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License.
• BCLS & ACLS required.
• 2 Years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• CCU is a 12-bed intensive care unit specializing in critically ill cardiac medical patients to include STEMIs and post‑cardiac arrest patients.
• Nurses develop strong assessment skills, are experts in intra‑aortic balloon pump and Impella management.
• Nurses in this unit are experts in vasoactive drip titrations and ventilator management.
