Work schedule: 72 hours per pay period as a staff RN for 12 weeks. Benefit status is consistent with casual part‑time benefits. Former FHC employees and current agency staff are also eligible to apply.

At least 1 year of recent ICU experience required. NC RN License or Multi‑state RN License required.

CVT is an 18‑bed acuity‑adaptable unit specializing in cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, and management of intra‑aortic balloon pumps and Impella devices. Nurses develop strong assessment skills and become experts at managing drip titrations, chest tubes, and ventilators. With the acuity‑adaptable approach, nurses manage care of the patient requiring open heart surgery from admission through discharge, providing efficient patient care and strengthening the nurse‑patient relationship. Nurses are required to obtain and maintain ACLS certification.
